Über Pfingsten fand in Italien der QuadrOrtaThon statt: 4 Tage mit 4 Marathons mit anspruchsvollen Höhenmetern, herrlicher Aussicht auf den Lago di Orta und durchgehend warmes Wetter. Am 3. Tag der Serie (am 03.06.217) ist unser italienisches Mitglied Vito Piero Ancora den 1000. Marathon gelaufen und ist damit der neunte vom 100MC und der erste Italiener, der die 1000 Marathon Marke erreicht hat.
Abends bei einem gemeinsamen Essen wurde Vito Piero dann gebührend gefeiert und gleich zweimal geehrt vom 100MC und vom Club Super Marathon Italia.

On Pentecost had been the QuadrOrtaThon in Italy: 4 Days with 4 Marathons, much up and down, beautiful views over the Lago di Orta and permanent good weather. On the third day (03/06/2017) our Italian member Vito Piero Ancora run his 1000 Marathon and is now the ninth runner of the 100MC and the first Italian who has reached the 1000 Marathons. At a dinner Vito was celebrated and honored from the 100MC and from Club Super Marathon Italia.
